Diplomatic Relations Requirements

As of [insert date], under Article 5 of the Federal Laws of the Kingdom of Elnäthar, the government formally establishes the following requirements for the creation and maintenance of diplomatic relations with other micronations.

These standards ensure that all partnerships are grounded in stability, transparency, and respect for the fundamental principles of peace, equality, and environmental responsibility that define Elnäthar’s national identity.

1. The micronation must have been founded for at least six months prior to the request for relations. Exceptions may be considered in exceptional and well-justified cases.

2. There must have been no abrupt or radical changes in government within the previous six months.

3. The micronation must not promote or tolerate any form of hate, discrimination, or extremism — no exceptions will be made.

4. If the nation has engaged in or provoked micronational warfare or armed conflict, diplomatic relations will not be considered.

5. The nation must maintain a functioning website or wiki page that provides accessible and verifiable information about its structure, leadership, and purpose.

6. The micronation must have a defined physical territory, either inhabited or administratively recognised, purely fictional or geofictional entities are excluded, exceptions can be considered in well-justified cases.

7. The government must be stable, consistent, and functional, without frequent or theatrical restructurings intended for attention.

8. Military or defence alliances are not accepted under any circumstances. The Kingdom of Elnäthar is a strictly neutral state, and neutrality is a fundamental condition of our foreign policy.

These regulations have been established to guarantee that all diplomatic ties of Elnäthar reflect integrity, mutual respect, and a shared vision of peaceful cooperation among nations.
